Ray Rando has been working in the hospitality industry since the age of fifteen. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Public Relations and Business, he moved to Manhattan to gain experience working in the bustling New York City dining scene. His tenure with the company began in September 2010 at Eataly Flatiron where he was hired as a floor manager at Manzo Ristorante before quickly advancing to the General Manager position. In March of 2013, Ray transitioned to Lupa Osteria Romana, where he was the General Manager before relocating to open Eataly Boston in September of 2017. After a successful opening, he moved back to NYC to become the GM at ŌTTŌ Enoteca e Pizzeria before becoming the General Manager of the company’s flagship restaurant, Babbo. Ray has played an instrumental role in acquiring Michelin Stars, and his loyalty to the company speaks for itself.
