Ray Rando has been working in the hospitality industry since he was fifteen years old. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Public Relations and Business, he decided to move to Manhattan to gain NYC restaurant experience. His tenure with the company began in September 2010 at Eataly Flatiron when he joined the team as a floor manager. He quickly worked his way up to General Manager of Manzo Ristorante. In March 2013, Ray became General Manager of Lupa Osteria Romana where he worked until September 2017, leaving to help open Eataly Boston. Since then, Ray has been GM of ŌTTŌ Enoteca e Pizzeria and now the company’s flagship restaurant, Babbo.
