In 2004 Robert Zwirz enrolled at the Culinary Education Center in Asbury Park, New Jersey. With his passion for food solidified, he continued down that path perusing a degree at Johnson & Wales University while working for Michelle Bernstein as a cook at Michy’s and Sra. After showing up with his knives and a dream, he was hired at Babbo Enoteca Ristorante in November of 2009. From there he worked his way up to Executive Sous Chef before moving to Lupa Osteria Romana as Executive Chef in June of 2015. He returned to Babbo as Executive Chef in 2018. He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
